IFDA congresses are based on the concept of "Preuves & Pratiques / Evidences & Pratices", which was developed in France more than 8 years ago. The 14 annual “Preuves & Pratiques” congresses combined with the journal "Preuves & Pratiques" form a unique scientific communication operation, and favor a close collaboration between the local associations of general medicine in the 14 French cities: Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Deauville, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier Nancy, Nantes, Nice, Paris, Rennes, Strasbourg, and Toulouse. The concept of "Evidences & Practices" Taking evidence-based medicine as its starting point the objective of this concept is to allow attendees to get an update on various medical specialties in one day. The success of this formula and the need to bring detailed and updated information based on an identical scheme; to do so, each presentation of 10 minutes presents:
Following these 10 minutes of presentation, a 5-minute-session of questions and answers allows the attendees to focus on certain topics or ask for additional information.
